Walk to End Alzheimer's

Tomorrow we celebrate the Walk to End Alzheimer's in our community.  This is such an important event because there are over 5 million people affected by this dreaded disease in the US with up to 200,000 under the age of 65.

My mother and mother-in-law both had Alzheimer's and we personally experienced the ravages of having our loved ones taken from us way before they died.  My husband and I lost our mothers and our children lost their grandmothers.  The sadness of this disease is challenging for all of us because many times the individual is healthy physically but they have this brain disease that takes away their memories and personality.

If you have a Walk to End Alzheimer's in your community I encourage you to register, donate and support because it will take all of us to end this disease.
