Faith

I have had a wonderful example of someone living their faith this week.  A friend of mine and her husband dreamed of having a small horse farm since they were young.  They are both very conservative and not the types to do anything spontaneously but they had a dream.

They talked about their dream and they dreamed about their dream and hoped that some day it would come true yet they both were realistic and prudent.  Of course there were many things that had to come together for them to realize their dream.  They would have to find the property the wanted in the state they wanted, then they would have to have jobs with insurance and then their home needed to sell.  Lots of things would have to manifest for them to move forward.

First they found the place they wanted to buy in the state they wanted.  Every day they prayed and waited.  Would the house sell and would they have the security of employment with insurance to give them the courage to step out?  Next the job came with insurance that provided security and all that is left is selling their home.  If you are like me, I bet you have no doubt that the home will sell and they will be on the way to living their dream.

This is a wonderful example of living our faith.  I am certain that they had many sleepless nights wondering if they were making the right decisions and if all the pieces would fall into place.  I am honored to share their story because it shows us that if we really have a dream and see it clearly that there is no way it can't happen.

There is a saying that goes, "If you advance confidently in the direction of your dreams and endeavor to live the life you have imagined, you will have success unaccounted for in the common hour."  Go forth and live your dreams.
