Let It Be

There was a song written called "Let It Be" by the Beatles.  It tells about when a time when you are in trouble and Mother Mary comes speaking words of wisdom...Let it be.  There will be an answer...Let it be.  The Beatles wrote some very profound songs that we have sang and repeated over the years without really listening to the words.

This week my lesson has been to allow things to evolve in my life.  I spend a lot of time worrying about the outcomes and being concerned about what will happen.  I am learning once again that all is well and all I have to do is to go with the flow or let it be.  Do you ever feel like you are pushing a boulder uphill?  I feel that way many times and yet I know deep inside that those times when that happens, I am taking on things that I have no control over and most times aren't even my business.
Let it be....

I have been singing the song from the fifties that Doris Day sang in the movie "The Man Who Knew Too Much."  It goes "Que Sera Sera, whatever will be will be, the future's not our to see que sera, sera, what will be will be."  This is a lesson for the ages that all people must learn but we live in a society that tells us over and over again that we must make things happen.  I know when I get stressed or sick that I need to slow down, center myself and Let it Be.
